Insidious lies are lies that get so embedded in our colective consciousness that they take on an aura of truth. Eventually this aura of truth just becomes the truth. This blog then, is intended to be a place where insidious lies can be posted for all to read.
Two examples of insidious lies are,
the stories of the Bible. The insidious lie is that it is the inspired word of God. The truth is that it was compiled about five to six hundred years bce.
The insidious lie that Egypt was the first major civilization. The truth is that Sumer was.
Posting articles will be open to all; with conditions. The primary condition is, you need facts to support your claims. You can't just say something is true because the Bible told me so. Or, the RRepublicans are not telling the truth because a Democrat told you so.
